    Overview Of Hydraulic Jack Tension Machine

    Overview

    The hydraulic jack tension machine for prestressing is composed of tensioning jacks, electric hydraulic pumps, high-pressure hoses, anchors, etc. According to pretensioned prestressing method, this machine is mainly used for tensioning steel wires, steel strands for the making small and medium-sized prefabricated components such as precast hollow core slabs,wall panels,beams,columns etc.

    Operational process

    During operation, one end of the steel bar/wires is anchored, and the other end is tensioned by the tensioner through the clamp. When the feed-through tensioner is working, the steel bar is penetrated, the front oil nozzle is opened, and the high pressure oil is sent into the rear oil nozzle by the hydraulic pump, so that the tension cylinder is retreated, and the steel bar is anchored and tensioned by the tail anchorage. After tensioning to the desired stress value, close the rear grease nipple. The front oil nozzle enters the oil, the piston pushes forward, and the anchor plug is pressed to anchor the steel bar. When returning, the piston is reset by the spring to complete the tension.

The ultra-high pressure main engine pump station is designed for high and low pressure two-stage design, and the stroke speed of the press clamp is adjustable, which can be flexibly used in various complex environments.

    Presressing Anchors

     Prestressed Steel Wire Anchorage, comprising an anchor ring and wedges (clamping plates), plays a core and indispensable role in prestressed concrete structures. Its primary functions can be summarized as follows:

    1. Anchoring Prestressed Steel Wires: This constitutes its most fundamental function. During the tensioning process, it provides a temporary, reliable anchoring point, enabling the hydraulic jack tension machine to exert substantial tensile force on the wires through it. Upon completion of tensioning and the establishment of prestress, it transitions into a permanent anchorage, continuously and stably transferring the immense tensile force from the wires to the concrete member.
    2. Critical Nexus for Prestress Transfer: The anchorage serves as the key interface for effectively and reliably transferring the high tensile forces borne by the wires – often reaching hundreds to over a thousand kilonewtons (kN) – onto the concrete member.
    3. Maintaining Prestress: Following tensioning completion, prestressed steel wires exhibit a strong tendency to retract (elastic rebound). The anchorage firmly clamps the wires, preventing any slippage or retraction. This enduring clamping capability is essential for ensuring the long-term effectiveness of the prestress within the structure.
